Cedar Rapids, IA - AXA Equitable AgriFinance is celebrating its 100th year of financing America's farmers and ranchers. AXA Equitable started as the farm loan department of The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States by making a $3,500 loan on 160 acres in Jackson County, Minnesota, in 1912. The company has helped American agriculture grow from its humble beginnings to the juggernaut that it is today by staying true to the company’s core values of lending to operators of sound character and stability.
Rick Henderson, President, has been with the company for 33 years. This evidences their commitment to U.S. agriculture, through the difficult years as well as the good ones. This sustained commitment has attracted and retained good farm and ranch customers, as multiple generations have relied on AXA Equitable to meet their family’s capital needs.
